Gelic nail art + www.moyou.dk

Today I have some great news, www.MoYou.dk contacted me some months ago to review some of their products.

And as you know MoYou means mainly stamping which made me really happy because I've been thinking of beginning to stamp more regular for like over a year. It's a nail art technique which has been a total hit or miss for me, sometime it has worked and sometime it hasn't, same polish and pattern, no logical reason for failure in my mind. It has never been a go-to-nail-art for me because of that failure-risk...

...So with curious hands and nails I've been stamping on and off the previous weeks..

I've been playing with a premium set, which contains of 5 special stamping polishes, 1 top coat, 1 stamper, 1 scrape, 6 round stamping plates, a correction pen and a 2MM multi color rhinestone wheel.

Depending on how much knowledge you got about stamping... (which I think is varied among my readers? Some of you might be almost "pro's" ;) and some of you might be beginners or might not have tried yet) ...but one of the most important things about stamping seem to be the stamper. I actually have a bunch of stampers and the Konad ones I got have a rubber stamping end. MoYou's (and also the XL stamper) have a silicon stamping end, which is more squishy and soft comparing to the "harder" rubber ones. I've experienced that the soft and squishy type is by far better for both picking up pattern and stamping it onto the nail.

I'll show the stamping plates better in the future but as you see they are round and the smaller size of the images. For me, I guess, small motives are good, because they're easier to pick up. I also see it as an exciting challenge making cool manicures with small motives.

Do I even have to mention that I love rhinestones? ;) And it will be interesting to try the correction pen, I've tried a no-name pen from Ebay before which I haven't even written about yet.

And yea, the fun part is that me and MoYou has discussed an offer for you readers. :) If you buy a nail art set, any of you choice, you can pick one polish OR one image plate of your choice if you use the code CEL246. You can use the code as many times you want, as long as you buy a nail art set.

For next post I've prepared a nail polish swatch with all the Moyou special nail polishes in the set. :)

I hope you'll find this as exciting as I do. ^^
